Job Description

  • Analyze industry and technology trends in next‑generation power systems to shape long‑term technical strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Define and guide the development of cutting‑edge power system platforms by integrating insights from emerging technologies, market needs, and customer pain points.
  • Lead joint‑innovation projects with internal teams and external partners, including universities and industrial collaborators.
  • Conduct simulations, power system studies, and support field testing activities to validate new technologies.
  • Represent the organization in academic or industrial standards bodies, contributing thought leadership and influencing key decisions in the power systems domain.

The Successful Applicant

  • Deep knowledge of advanced power system solutions and platform architectures such as BESS, FACTS, HVDC, and MVDC.
  • Strong understanding of renewable integration, photovoltaics, energy storage, or EV charging infrastructure.
  • Proven innovation track record in areas such as GFM inverters, grid simulation, virtual power plants, and advanced storage technologies.
  • Broad industry perspective with the ability to combine technology trends, customer value creation, and cross‑domain insights into competitive solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience in developing power system products or platforms, especially in renewable integration.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering critical technologies and resolving customer challenges.
  • Ideally experienced in control systems for power electronic inverters.
  • Structured, creative, collaborative, and highly motivated, with strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
