Job Description

  • Conduct legal research and provide practical advice on corporate, M&A and equity capital markets transactions
  • Draft, review and negotiate corporate, ECM and transactional documentation, including agreements and disclosures
  • Assist with due diligence exercises, identifying legal, regulatory and commercial risks
  • Ensure compliance with local and applicable international laws and regulations
  • Support partners and deal teams in transaction execution and project management
  • Maintain accurate, organised legal records and transaction documentation
  • Monitor and stay updated on corporate, capital markets and regulatory developments
  • Provide general legal support on corporate and transactional matters as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Associate should have:

  • Qualified to the Malaysian Bar with a recognised law degree
  • 2-4 years' PQE in corporate, equity capital markets and M&A work
  • Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous, detail‑oriented and commercially minded
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
