Job Description

As an IT Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and operating scalable cloud-based solutions that support a global platform ecosystem. You'll take ownership of features from concept to production while collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and agile product teams.Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support modern software solutions across cloud and backend environments.
  • Build and enhance scalable applications using cloud-native technologies and modern engineering practices.
  • Drive continuous improvements across CI/CD pipelines, automation, observability, and platform reliability.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and proactively address technical debt and operational risks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers while promoting engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve development efficiency and product scalability.



The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Software Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering, cloud development, or similar technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, or other modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Exposure to AWS or other public cloud platforms, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code, automation tools, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to own technical initiatives from development through production.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills within Agile or Scrum environments.
  • A proactive mindset, passion for learning, and enthusiasm for modern engineering technologies.



Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AWS Lambda, EKS, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, or platform engineering practices.
  • Exposure to event-driven architecture, distributed systems, or AI tooling within the software development lifecycle.
