Job Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain Java Springboot -based applications to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design efficient and scalable software solutions
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and resolve software bugs, bottlenecks, and issues
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into the development process when appropriate
  • Adhere to industry best practices and company standards for software development

The Successful Applicant

A successful Java Developer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • A strong foundation in Java programming and related frameworks
  • Proven background in building Java Springboot microservices using frameworks like Spring Cloud
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing large-scale, distributed applications within mission-critical production environments
  • Solid expertise in Java/Java EE standards
  • Experienced in developing and deploying containerized applications; familiarity with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm is a plus
  • Proficiency in databases, web services, and API integration
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
