Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for IT hardware, software, and enterprise solutions
  • Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities
  • Lead RFx processes, including vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendations
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships to drive cost, quality, and service improvements
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies and requirements
  • Support contract negotiations, working closely with legal to mitigate commercial risks
  • Issue and manage purchase orders while ensuring ERP compliance and data accuracy
  • Monitor vendor performance across delivery, quality, and service metrics, resolving escalations as needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and automation
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance, and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Procurement Specialist should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in IT or enterprise procurement
  • Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, RFx management, and vendor negotiations
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across functions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including cost and risk assessment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or procurement tools is an advantage
  • High level of integrity, ownership, and ability to manage complex, high-impact projects
