The IT Infrastructure Technical Lead will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security. About Our Client

This role manages secure R&D lab networks used by engineering teams around the world. You'll be responsible for keeping the network running smoothly, supporting engineers, managing access and security, and maintaining Linux-based systems in a highly controlled environment that is separated from the internet (air-gapped).

Job Description

* Support day-to-day operations of secure R&D lab networks globally

* Manage SONiC-based network switches and Linux systems

* Configure VLANs, IP addresses, routing, and network access

* Administer Zscaler and CyberArk for secure access control

* Perform secure file transfers across isolated environments

* Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues for engineers

* Maintain virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix)

* Monitor infrastructure health, upgrades, and maintenance activities

* Handle support tickets and meet SLA requirements

* Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Infrastructure Technical Lead should have:

* Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field

* 4+ years in Network Administration or System Administration

* Strong Linux Administration (Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS)

* Networking knowledge (VLAN, Routing, ACL, TCP/IP, Wireshark, tcpdump)

* Zscaler ZTNA / App Connector experience

* CyberArk or PAM (Privileged Access Management) experience

* VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, or Hyper-V experience

* SFTP, SCP, rsync knowledge

* SNMP monitoring tools (SolarWinds or similar)
