Job Description

  1. Deliver technical support services, including installation, administration, configuration, and applying patches or upgrades for middleware products.
  2. Monitor middleware services, perform diagnostics, and optimize performance.
  3. Handle application deployments and provide production support.
  4. Develop and maintain technical, system, and operational documentation.
  5. Offer 24/7 on-call support for production environments as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IP Senior Middleware Engineer should have:

  1. At least 2 years of practical experience administering Infoblox NIOS DNS appliance 9.0.x, including Response Policy Zone and Access Control List configuration.
  2. Strong knowledge of SSL certificate operations, including generation, renewal, and tools such as OpenSSL and Java Keytool.
  3. Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting (Korn, bash) and Perl.
  4. Solid understanding of Java EE web architecture, Enterprise Java Beans, application server clustering, performance tuning, and JMX monitoring.
  5. Familiarity with CORBA architecture.
  6. Experience in C++, Java programming, and SQL.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  8. Strong written and spoken communication skills in Cantonese and business English; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
