Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards within the oil and gas sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements and provide ongoing support.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure audit processes remain relevant and effective.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholder

The Successful Applicant

A successful Internal Audit professional should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in audit methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or within a team.
