Job Description

  • Lead system-level planning and translate product requirements into SoC specifications and architectural definitions.
  • Own overall architecture design, select suitable IPs, and create early models to assess system performance.
  • Work closely with software teams to define hardware-software boundaries and integration approaches.
  • Coordinate front-end and back-end design flows, managing estimation, tracking, and sign‑off for power, bus metrics, floor planning, routing, and overall PPA.
  • Define and decompose system-level safety and reliability requirements for SoC design.
  • Plan requirements and lead the High-Level Design Specification (HLDS) process for in‑house IP development.
  • Prepare SoC datasheets and technical documentation required for certification, compliance, and design reviews.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and architectural analysis to ensure the design remains innovative and competitive.



The Successful Applicant

A successful IC Design Engineer should have:

  • Degree or higher in Electronics, Communications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. (Master's degree is an added advantage)
  • 3+ years' experience in SoC architecture or micro‑architecture with exposure across the chip development lifecycle.
  • Background in safety‑oriented or reliability‑focused SoC architecture and related IP development.
  • Strong understanding of ARM architecture and AMBA bus protocols; experience in CPU or bus design is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Verilog and SystemVerilog, with hands‑on digital logic design experience.
  • Familiar with C and SystemC; experience with driver development or ESL modelling is a plus.
  • Strong English reading/writing skills with solid analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Responsible, self‑driven, communicative, and highly collaborative.
