Job Description

  • Lead and manage the purchase-to-pay process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in operations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise procurement and payment workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to procurement and payments.
  • Analyse and report on financial data to support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement processes with organisational goals.
  • Resolve disputes and issues related to procurement and payment processes effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the purchase-to-pay team, fostering professional development.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Purchase to Pay should have:

  • Strong knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes within the energy and natural resources industry. Procurement experience is a must too!
  • Proven experience in financial operations and procurement management.
  • Ability to manage compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and improve processes.
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide and develop a high-performing team.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
