Job Description

  • Lead and manage the global customs classification processes to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize customs operations and classification accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address customs-related inquiries and resolve classification disputes.
  • Monitor updates in customs regulations and ensure timely adaptation to changes impacting the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Provide training and guidance to teams on customs classification protocols and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customs activities for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for customs authorities and provide expert advice on classification matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Customs Classification Head should have:

  • A strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of customs classification and international trade regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
