Job Description

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering professional development.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in financial management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Accounting should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proven experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
