Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective material planning strategies to support production demands.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials.
  • Analyze inventory levels and forecast material requirements to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align material planning with overall supply chain goals.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the material planning and supply chain processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on material planning performance and improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material planning processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Material Planning Manager should have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of material planning and inventory management processes.
  • Proven experience in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
