Job Description

  • Plant P&L management
  • Define and implement the plant's long‑term operational strategy, ensuring alignment to global objectives and customer expectations.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end operating model across production, engineering, materials, quality, HR, safety, and facilities to ensure sustainable performance.
  • Shape future capacity planning, investment priorities, and operational capabilities required for growth.
  • Champion continuous improvement and transformation programmes, embedding lean methodologies, digital tools, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Strengthen operational governance, ensuring strong risk management, compliance, quality assurance, and safety culture.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration to align production, supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams on shared performance metrics.
  • Build leadership bench strength and workforce capability through structured coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Oversee plant‑level budgeting, financial forecasting, cost optimisation, and accountability for P&L performance.



The Successful Applicant

A successful General Manager should have:

  • A strong educational background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and scale sizable, cross functional teams
  • Candidates must have experience in high-mix EMS environments, with proven track record in electromechanical assembly
  • Strong strategic mindset with experience in shaping operating models, transformation initiatives and long term capacity planning
  • Deep expertise in operational excellence, continuous improvement and performance systems
  • Strong capability in data-driven decision-making, with experience leveraging digital tools to enhance operational performance
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to influence, inspire and align diverse teams
  • Exceptional problem solving, communication, stakeholder management and organizational leadership skills
