Job Description

  • Process customs inward permits and prepare import documentation.
  • Track import shipments across land, air, and sea to avoid delays.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers, forwarders, suppliers, and customers on shipping schedules and documentation needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements for smooth permit applications and import clearance.
  • Prepare, compile, and manage shipping documents for import/export activities.
  • Provide timely updates on shipment status and assist in resolving issues such as customs clearance.
  • Liaise with overseas agents and attend to customer requests.
  • Follow SOPs, ensure document compliance, and maintain accurate filing.
  • Create POs for repetitive non‑planning products.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on cargo irregularities and manage damage claim filings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Freight Management Executive should have:

  • Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping operations.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export processes; experience in critical logistics, cold chain, or food logistics is a plus.
  • Holds a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Higher Diploma in any field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Short notice period availability is an advantage.
  • Independent, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a dynamic operational environment.
