Job Description

  • Manage project and fixed asset accounting in SAP, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and standards.
  • Oversee project setup, capitalization, revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, leasing, and fixed asset records.
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset subledgers across SAP entities.
  • Support megaprojects, M&A activities, and SAP data migration.
  • Prepare journal entries, perform financial analysis, and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on cost reviews, capitalization decisions, and depreciation analysis.
  • Assist in resolving complex issues, mitigating risks, and improving processes, including automation initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accounting (GL) should have:

  • The incumbent should hold a degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently. Excellent planning and organizational abilities, combined with proven problem-solving capability, are essential. Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills are also required.
  • This role requires a solid understanding of banking payment processes, local tax regulations, and audit procedures. The candidate must be able to interact effectively with senior management, external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems, particularly SAP, is preferred, along with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
