Job Description

  • Develop and optimize firmware for BIOS systems to ensure compatibility and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement firmware requirements.
  • Perform debugging and troubleshooting of firmware issues to enhance system reliability.
  • Maintain and update existing firmware to meet evolving industry standards.
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure firmware quality and compliance.
  • Document firmware designs, processes, and updates for internal reference.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in firmware and BIOS technologies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Firmware BIOS Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of BIOS and firmware development processes.
  • Min of 8 years of experience in BIOS/ UEFI firmware development (Must have)
  • Experience with debugging tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with EDK I or EDK II, code structure is highly preferred.
  • An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
