Job Description

  • Lead and manage all financial activities for the Malaysia site, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in adherence to local and international standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have :

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Strong expertise in financial management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in leading financial operations for a large organization.
  • Regional exposure, specifically exposure to China markets will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of local and international financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • The ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
