Job Description

  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize the company's performance.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts effectively.
  • Supervise and lead the accounting & finance team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the senior management team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring internal controls are in place.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional qualifications like ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is MUST HAVE.
  • Strong leadership experience is a MUST HAVE.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial insights effectively.
