Job Description

  1. Oversee the full spectrum of finance operations, including full set accounts, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  2. Manage and review Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
  3. Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insights to support business decisions.
  4. Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and liquidity position, ensuring effective cash management.
  5. Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and performance dashboards to support senior management and business operations.
  6. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal control policies.
  7. Manage the payroll function, including salary processing, statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), and employee compensation records.
  8. Oversee HR administration matters, including employee onboarding, leave management, personnel records, and HR policy implementation.
  9. Partner with department heads to monitor costs, improve operational efficiency, and drive business performance through financial insights.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experienced with Start Up company is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
