Job Description

  • Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and company policies in all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial performance and cost efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team to maintain high standards of financial management.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Work closely with external auditors and other stakeholders during financial audits.

The Successful Applicant

  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • At least 8 years working experience in finance/accounting
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
