Job Description

  • Lead and oversee the plant's annual budgeting process, ensuring consistency with overall corporate financial objectives.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision‑making, including initiatives for cost optimisation and capital investments.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee and manage operational expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency improvements.
  • Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure accurate product and service costing.
  • Review and analyse production costs, providing actionable recommendations to enhance profitability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local accounting standards and internal corporate policies.
  • Comply with all applicable Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) regulations and related legal requirements to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
