Job Description

  • Build and manage baseline and trend demand forecasts using statistical and time‑series models
  • Analyse large volumes of internal and external data, including distributor data and syndicated market data
  • Segment SKUs and apply appropriate forecasting strategies based on product and market dynamics
  • Validate, maintain, and continuously improve forecasting models to enhance accuracy
  • Perform time series decomposition to isolate trend, seasonality, and irregular demand patterns
  • Partner with market demand planners to enrich baseline forecasts with local demand drivers
  • Develop scenario simulations to assess the impact of market changes, strategic decisions, and external events
  • Lead data quality reviews, identifying and correcting anomalies in historical and real‑time datasets
  • Design and apply outlier detection frameworks, ensuring transparency and auditability
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to distinguish between data errors and genuine business events
  • Work with IT and global process owners to improve automation, reporting, and dashboarding capabilities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Demand Planning Analyst should have:

  • Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Proven experience in demand forecasting, planning, or supply chain analytics
  • Strong capability in statistical modelling and data interpretation
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles
  • Hands‑on experience with forecasting tools and analytical technologies
  • A continuous improvement mindset with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Strategic, structured, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment
