This role is responsible for delivering accurate demand forecasts to support business planning, inventory optimisation, and service level performance. You will partner closely with commercial, supply chain, and finance teams to translate market insights into actionable demand plans.

Job Description

  • Develop and manage demand forecasts across assigned product categories and markets
  • Lead the monthly demand planning and forecasting cycle, including consensus meetings
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to incorporate promotions, launches, and market intelligence into forecasts
  • Analyse forecast accuracy, bias, and demand variability, recommending continuous improvement actions
  • Support S&OP / IBP processes by providing clear demand assumptions and scenario analysis
  • Monitor inventory risks and service level impacts, working closely with supply and operations teams
  • Prepare regular demand planning reports and dashboards for management review
  • Drive data quality and process improvements within planning systems and tools

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience in demand planning or forecasting within FMCG or consumer‑driven environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Confident stakeholder management skills across commercial and supply chain teams
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with planning systems and Power BI is an advantage
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
