Job Description

As a Customs Operations Executive, you'll play an important role in ensuring customs compliance and supporting international trade operations within a regional service hub. This position combines customs expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement, making it ideal for professionals looking to build a long-term career in global trade and supply chain management.Key responsibilities include:

  • Support customs-related operations and service requests across international markets.
  • Review, validate, and manage import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on customs, trade compliance, and supply chain activities.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and support compliance with evolving customs requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve customs-related discrepancies, shipment delays, and documentation issues.
  • Support reporting, dashboard preparation, and data management initiatives.
  • Contribute to process standardization, documentation, automation, and digitalization projects.
  • Assist in customs compliance assessments, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Customs Operations Executive should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related technical discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customs, foreign trade, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Understanding of customs regulations, import/export processes, and trade compliance principles.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing documentation and managing compliance-related activities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve operational issues.
  • Comfortable collaborating with regional and global stakeholders across different functions..
  • Experience or interest in digitalization, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Flexibility to support stakeholders across different time zones, including EMEA working hours.
