The Credit & Collections Specialist Japanese Speaker will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness and managing credit-related activities within the industrial/manufacturing sector in Bangkok. This position requires proficiency in Japanese and a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Hybrid working (3 days in office + 2 days WFH)
  • Develop expertise in credit risk management across APAC region

Job Description

  • Perform credit reviews and assessments for customer accounts.
  • Analyse financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories to evaluate creditworthiness.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and recommend adjustments where necessary.
  • Manage collections activities and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes related to credit and payment matters.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to minimise credit risk and improve cash flow.
  • Prepare credit analysis reports and maintain accurate customer records.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit & Collection Specialist Japanese Speaker should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Business level Japanese & English - speak, read & write
  • Min 2 years experience in Credit Analysis, Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Finance Operations, or related functions.
  • Strong analytical and financial assessment skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.

What's on Offer

  • Annual salary between MYR 60,000 and MYR 120,000.
