The Contract Analyst is responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process, with a focus on contract enablement, validation, and operationalisation. This role ensures contracts with third‑party suppliers are accurately reviewed, compliant with internal policies, and effectively executed within procurement systems.

Job Description

  • Review and validate contracts to ensure compliance with internal procurement guidelines, policies, and governance standards prior to execution.
  • Perform contract quality checks to mitigate risk and ensure audit compliance before system enablement.
  • Create and maintain contract workspaces, headers, and documentation within procurement systems (e.g. Ariba).
  • Facilitate contract execution processes, including approvals and signatures in line with delegated authority frameworks.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of contract documentation, including appendices and supporting schedules.
  • Operationalise contracts within procurement and transactional systems, ensuring alignment with Source-to-Pay processes.
  • Manage contract amendments, variations, notifications, and terminations, ensuring timely system updates and stakeholder communication.
  • Monitor contract compliance and performance, identifying and addressing discrepancies or risks.
  • Support contract close-out and exit processes, including proper documentation, archiving, and system closure.
  • Collaborate with procurement and business stakeholders to resolve contract-related issues and clarify ambiguities.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of P2P data prior to handover to purchasing operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve contract processes, standardisation, and system utilisation.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in contract management, procurement operations, or Source-to-Pay processes.
  • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) and procurement practices.
  • Hands-on experience with e-procurement tools (e.g. Ariba or equivalent systems).
  • Good working knowledge of contract terms, legal clauses, and commercial agreements.
  • Experience in contract review, validation, and operationalisation processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
