Job Description

  • Handle end-to-end motor insurance claims processes, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Review and assess claim documents to determine coverage and validity.
  • Coordinate with clients, workshops, and third-party assessors to gather necessary information.
  • Provide technical expertise on repair procedures, battery systems, and specialized components to local repair networks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to customers regarding claim status and outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed claims reports including damage assessments, cost estimates, and recommendations for settlement.
  • Maintain detailed records of claims and prepare necessary reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the underwriting and risk teams to identify trends and mitigate potential issues.
  • Continuously improve claims processes to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Claims Specialist (Motor) should have:

  • A strong background in automotive claims handling, preferably with body shop or repairer background.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess and resolve complex claims.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin are a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, including NEV-specific systems such as battery packs, electric motors, and ADAS components.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders professionally.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for managing claims and documentation.
  • A proactive and organized approach to handling multiple tasks efficiently.
