Job Description

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to optimise performance and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
  • Prepare and analyse sales reports to track progress and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Oversee budget management and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills of the sales team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Unit Manager (Medical Devices) should have:

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the medical devices / surgical instruments industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • experiences in distributor managament
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and develop actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with the Petaling Jaya market would be an advantage.
