Job Description

  • Manage and oversee reconciliation processes to ensure alignment with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance reconciliation workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address reconciliation-related inquiries and issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analysis on reconciliation activities for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audit processes as needed.
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to team members to foster professional growth.
  • Utilize banking and financial services tools to optimize reconciliation processes.
  • Adhere and support the bank Risk & Control framework through various programs which include appropriate Key Risk Controls Self-Assessment (KRCSA), Key Risk Indictors (KRI), Management Risk Awareness (MRA), Incident Reporting (IRF) and Business Continuity Management (BCM)

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP, Manager, Reconciliation should have:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills in reconciliation processes within the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in using banking and financial services software tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking sector.
