Job Description

  • Maintain and optimize OT/IT infrastructure to support seamless manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshoot and support automation systems, industrial networks, and production applications, using SCADA/PLC, HMI industrial control networks.
  • Strengthen OT cybersecurity through access control, patch management, and backup solutions.
  • Drive automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve plant performance.
  • Monitor system health and resolve issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to implement technical solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical support, user training, and continuous improvement for OT environments

The Successful Applicant

A successful MES IT Support Specialist should have:

  • Experience in MES development or implementation within the large MNC manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and system integration tools.
  • Good knowledge of industrial networking technologies such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA
  • Strong project management and vendor coordination capabilities..
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
