An established multinational pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive ts Primary Care business in Malaysia.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmaceutical sales personnel to drive business performance, develop high-performing teams, and contribute to improving patient outcomes through a portfolio of healthcare solutions.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals
  • Manage and guide a team of sales representatives to meet performance targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Monitor market trends & activities to identify opportunities.
  • Provide training to the sales team to enhance their skills.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Work with other departments to align sales efforts with company goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Field Sales Manager (Primary Care) should have:

  • Proven experience in sales within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capability to study market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with managing retail pharmacies, GP clinics and hospital channels is an advantage.
