We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join the technology department within the industrial industry. The role is based in Malaysia and involves developing and maintaining software solutions to support business needs.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, document, develop, and deliver software components as assigned by project leads.
  • Build software modules using C# and the .NET framework.
  • Develop unit tests using test‑driven development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Write high‑performance SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
  • Create functional specifications and interface documentation to support technical clarity.
  • Integrate software components into larger operational systems as part of project implementations.
  • Participate in on‑site commissioning, ensuring successful integration testing and acceptance testing.
  • Prepare and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test reports for site activities.
  • Lead aspects of documentation, configuration, development, and testing for assigned deliverables.
  • Take part in design, code, and documentation reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Estimate task durations, align with project timelines, and deliver work according to agreed schedules.
  • Contribute to the improvement of software development processes and team best practices.
  • Provide training and support to customers and key users on deployed applications.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Software Engineer (Full Stack) should have:

  • Proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Minimum 4 years of .Net C# programming experience
  • Experience in Blazor ASP.NET \ WinForms and WPF GUI
  • Extensive experience in design techniques and tools as used in Software Development
  • Bachelor's degree qualifications or equivalent in Software or Computer Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL)
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally (up to 3 months to support project, frequency of travel depends on the project requirements and needs)
