Job Description

  • Lead and manage the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to ensure round-the-clock monitoring and response to security incidents.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and incident response plans to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts, threats, and vulnerabilities across the organization's technology infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve security incidents promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to information security.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to SOC analysts, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Prepare and present security reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance the SOC's capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful SOC Team Lead should have:

  • A strong background in cybersecurity and security operations within the financial services industry.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, such as SIEM platforms and intrusion detection systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the financial services sector.
