Job Description

As an Informatica ETL Developer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of enterprise data platforms.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across Informatica, Hadoop, and Teradata platforms
  • Managing and optimizing ETL processes and data warehouse environments
  • Monitoring workflows and collaborating with technical teams to drive long-term solutions
  • Designing, building, and enhancing Informatica mappings
  • Writing and debugging SQL, Hive, and shell scripts
  • Supporting scheduling tools and ensuring smooth batch operations
  • Contributing to incident, problem, and change management processes
  • This role balances hands-on technical work with real business impact, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges.



The Successful Applicant

A successful ETL Developer should have:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development/support
  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica and Hadoop ecosystems
  • Solid SQL skills (Teradata / Oracle) and understanding of large-scale data environments
  • Experience with UNIX shell scripting and scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with Hive, Java, or Python is an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfortable working across teams and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
