Job Description

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions that are secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.
  • Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the industrial and manufacturing context.
  • Stay updated on emerging data engineering technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data systems and processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Data Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies, including SQL, Python, Snowflake or similar languages.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and data storage solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security practices in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
