Job Description

  • Lead SAP process architecture and configuration using manufacturing best practices to develop standardized workflows.
  • Provide functional leadership and high-level support across SAP FICO, MM, PP, WM, QM, HR, and SD modules.
  • Manage complex system integrations and data structures, with a focus on alignment between FICO, PP/APO, and other core modules.
  • Collaborate with global developers and SAP teams to deliver enhancements using SAP Solution Manager.
  • Define and execute the SAP operational and strategic roadmap, aligning resources with long-term business objectives.
  • Manage financial planning for SAP initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, vendor negotiations, and global service agreements.
  • Oversee SAP-related infrastructure, including server environments, network mapping, and hardware asset management in line with global IM guidelines.
  • Partner with Global IT teams on rollout projects, managing change requests, testing, and production transports.
  • Optimize business processes through SAP configuration and in-house software solutions for factory and device integration.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting support and maintain technical documentation for helpdesk and knowledge management.
  • Act as the main liaison between executives, department leaders, and end users, including facilitating Key User meetings and reporting.
  • Manage SAP user administration, licensing, role approvals, and system security audits.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Information Technology or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of SAP implementation and support experience.
  • Strong functional expertise in SAP PP, MM, WM, and FICO within repetitive manufacturing and variant configuration environments.
  • Proven experience designing and building SAP Process Orchestration (PO) architectures, including integration patterns and MES connectivity.
  • Solid understanding of end-user and server environments, hardware deployment, troubleshooting, and SAP licensing management.
  • Ability to translate complex SAP capabilities into clear business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing SAP project lifecycles with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging local management and global IT teams.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently within a team-oriented environment.
  • Candidate preference: background from Perak or willing to relocate to Perak.
