Job Description

  • Manage daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow, on-time delivery, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Analyze and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by optimizing availability, performance, and quality metrics.
  • Identify production losses, implement corrective actions, and drive productivity improvements while reducing operational costs.
  • Coordinate with Production, QA, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational, quality, and performance issues.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and machinery breakdowns, ensuring effective recovery and minimizing production downtime.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and operational readiness.
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce workplace safety policies and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives, reviewing and updating production processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Develop training programs for production personnel and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for management review and decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of machine operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown analysis.
  • Experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity optimization is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in analyzing production data, monitoring OEE, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing safety standards, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in production management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and manufacturing software tools.
