Job Description

  • Drive strategic sourcing efforts and establish long‑term supplier relationships that support overall business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts to achieve the best pricing, quality standards, and delivery performance.
  • Supervise and mentor the procurement team to strengthen and expand a dependable vendor network.
  • Develop and apply supplier assessment systems to track performance, compliance, and potential risks.
  • Oversee the yearly procurement budget, including forecasting, capital expenditure planning, and cost management.
  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance to ensure procurement activities run efficiently and stay aligned with operational priorities.
  • Study market developments and advise stakeholders on potential impacts to the supply chain.
  • Compile procurement analyses, prepare reports, and deliver data‑driven recommendations to support strategic decision‑making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least seven years of hands‑on procurement experience, preferably within construction‑related sectors.
  • Proven background in managing contracts and cultivating strong supplier partnerships.
  • Experience supporting procurement for data centers, cleanrooms, or commercial facilities is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to working across the Asia Pacific region is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities and vendor management expertise, with a track record of achieving cost savings.
  • Knowledge of supply chains related to subsea cable installation, marine operations, or vessel procurement is a significant plus.
  • Excellent analytical abilities combined with strong leadership and negotiation skills.
