Job Description

  • Provide strategic legal advisory to management on operational, commercial, and corporate matters across the Group
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and contracts
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate legal and operational risks
  • Manage and resolve disputes, claims, and legal correspondence, and liaise with external counsel where required
  • Oversee and support day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring smooth execution and effective problem-solving
  • Manage company matters from both legal and operational perspectives, aligning with overall business objectives
  • Drive operational efficiency across business units through effective coordination and execution
  • Act as a key liaison between management, operations, and finance teams to support seamless decision-making
  • Monitor operational performance, identify issues early, and implement practical solutions proactivelymembers in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal & Logistics Assistant Manager should have:

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 2-3 years' PQE
  • Background in litigation preferred, with exposure to disputes, claims, or court matters considered an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated, with strong initiative
  • Demonstrates a genuine interest in expanding beyond a purely legal role into operational and commercial functions
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
  • Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
