Our client is looking for a lead,devops engineer to join their team. The role will be responsible for maintaining and expanding cloud‑based infrastructure and application, driving automation efforts, enhancing monitoring/alerting frameworks.

Job Description

  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana and PagerDuty to ensure system health and fast incident response.
  • Build automation scripts using Python, Unix Shell, or AWS Lambda to simplify and optimize operational tasks.
  • Participate in scheduled weekend production releases and deployment activities when required.
  • Work closely with development teams to enhance the scalability, performance, and reliability of applications.
  • Manage, design, and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and GitHub, following industry best practices.
  • Provide BAU production support, addressing issues detected by monitoring systems or raised by users before they escalate into business impact.
  • Run database queries and handle routine database management tasks; experience in Document‑Oriented Databases is an added advantage.
  • Support infrastructure onboarding and migration initiatives while collaborating with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead DevOps Engineer should have:

  • 7+ years of hands‑on experience in a DevOps role, with solid exposure to AWS environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux, Git, and PL/SQL; familiarity with Document‑Oriented Databases and scripting is an added advantage.
  • Experience using monitoring and incident‑response tools such as PagerDuty and other industry‑standard platforms.
  • Openness to supporting weekend or public‑holiday shifts, with replacement off days provided.
