Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries to ensure timely financial closings.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful GL Accounting professional should have:

  • A recognized degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Equipped with ACCA/CPA/CA/CIMA
  • Proficiency in general ledger systems and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
