Job Description

  • Manage general ledger accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives in general ledger operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on accounting matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of financial processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 - 5 years in GL / RTR
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
