Job Description

  • Lead preventative and corrective maintenance strategies for HVAC, compressor and mechanical utility systems supporting production and cleanroom operations.
  • Oversee cleanroom environmental controls (ISO Class 5-8), including pressure cascading, humidity, temperature stability and filtration efficiency.
  • Drive energy optimisation and cost efficiency, prioritising spend while maintaining system reliability and compliance.
  • Manage external vendors, OEMs and service contracts, ensuring SLA adherence and safety compliance.
  • Lead, develop and performance-manage a multidisciplinary technical team, ensuring safe, timely and high-quality execution of works.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, MDSAP and GMP standards.
  • Utilise Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor, control and optimise plant performance.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, CDA systems, compressors and chiller plants within manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience leading technical teams (7+ staff), with proven people development and resource planning capability.
  • Hands-on experience managing ISO-certified cleanrooms and troubleshooting complex mechanical system failures.
  • Proven track record in vendor management, project cost control and regulatory compliance.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven leader with a strong safety and quality mindset.
