Job Description

  • Mechanical & Facilities Management
    • Lead maintenance strategy for HVAC, compressor, and critical utilities
    • Manage shutdowns, emergency repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Energy Optimisation & Cost Control
    • Drive cost efficiency through contractor management and resource optimisation
    • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and performance
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team
    • Ensure delivery against KPIs, budgets, and timelines
  • Operational Coordination & Compliance
    • Work closely with production to minimise downtime
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, GMP, and MDSAP standards
    • Uphold safety and environmental standards



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong expertise in HVAC, compressors, and cleanroom environments (ISO Class 5-8)
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams (7+ staff)
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • CDA systems, chiller plants, filtration, and air change systems
    • Cleanroom environmental control (temperature, humidity, pressure)
  • Experience with BMS/automation systems
  • Strong contractor/vendor management skills within SLA-driven environments
