Job Description

  • Act as system owner for electrical, building, gas, DI water and elevator systems
  • Develop and execute long‑term facilities maintenance strategies with documented evidence
  • Drive continuous improvement and eliminate unplanned production interruptions
  • Lead and mentor technicians and external contractors in troubleshooting and system optimisation
  • Plan and manage capacity expansion, including system monitoring and forecasting
  • Own audit readiness, licensing and regulatory compliance for facilities equipment
  • Lead complex engineering and capital projects from concept through execution
  • Manage operating budgets, forecasts and CAPEX related to facilities systems
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams (production, IE, etc.) on factory expansion and upgrades



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or Diploma with extensive experience)
  • 10+ years' experience in semiconductor facilities management (15+ years with diploma)
  • Strong expertise in electrical systems within high‑tech manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to lead teams, vendors and multidisciplinary projects
  • Hands‑on problem solver with strong root-cause analysis and preventive maintenance skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to mentor, influence and collaborate across functions
