Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all engineering and maintencance operations to ensure optimal efficiency, productivity, safety, and quality compliance.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve production processes, reduce operational costs, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage the Engineering department covering maintenance, CAPEX projects, documentation, and operational support.
  • Drive CAPEX initiatives including production line expansion, equipment upgrades, and productivity enhancement projects.
  • Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance to ensure high equipment reliability, uptime, and timely repairs.
  • Provide hands‑on troubleshooting support with strong mechanical expertise, including support for packaging and blow‑moulding operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop engineers, senior technical staff, executives, and blue‑collar technicians.
  • Ensure engineering documentation (ISO, SOPs, maintenance schedules) is properly maintained, controlled, and audit‑ready.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support production targets, resolve issues, and stabilize operations.
  • Prepare and manage engineering budgets, and present performance through clear data, KPIs, metrics, and cost analysis to management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in manufacturing engineering or maintenance leadership.
  • Proven leadership capability managing multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams.
  • Strong hands‑on mechanical knowledge with demonstrated troubleshooting expertise.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering best practices.
  • Experience leading CAPEX projects, including production line expansions and upgrades.
  • Proven track record in driving cost‑saving, productivity, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, ISO standards, and quality management systems.
  • Pragmatic leadership style with strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
  • Positive, progressive mindset with the ability to manage change and move beyond legacy practices.
