Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the financial planning and analysis processes for the region, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Provide detailed financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accurate budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the preparation of management reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of FBP should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience in the retail or FMCG industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • A professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
