Job Description

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives.
  • Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Design and optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficient data processing.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science and technology within the financial services industry.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on data-related projects.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards in all analyses and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Scientist should have:

  • A strong educational background in data science, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL and Hadoop.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
