Job Description

  • Develop and implement regional privacy and cybersecurity policies, strategies, and frameworks across APAC
  • Support local offices in adapting regional frameworks to meet country-specific requirements
  • Monitor regulatory developments and conduct risk assessments with actionable mitigation strategies
  • Lead incident response planning, crisis simulations, and capability building across the region
  • Conduct governance reviews and compliance audits, identifying and closing gaps
  • Act as a subject matter expert in regulatory engagement and legislative feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and regional stakeholders on key initiatives
  • Design and deliver training programs for privacy and cybersecurity professionals

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST CSF, and NIST Privacy Framework
  • Familiarity with APAC privacy and cybersecurity regulations
  • Proven experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
  • Ability to align security programs with business objectives
  • Experience in incident response and crisis management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Holds at least one certification (e.g., CISSP, CIPP, CIPM, CISM)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant cybersecurity and privacy experience
  • High professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
